Author Guidelines
International Journal of Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Sciences (IJPHS)
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
All manuscripts must be written in English language. The manuscript should be typed in single-spaced format on A4 size paper with 1-inch margins on all sides. Font size should be 12pt Times New Roman throughout the manuscript. Authors are requested to follow these guidelines carefully before submission to ensure smooth processing of their manuscript.
MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION
The manuscript should be organized in the following order:
- Title Page
- Abstract
- Keywords
- Introduction
- Materials and Methods
- Results and Discussion
- Conclusion
- Acknowledgment
- Conflicts of Interest
- References
TITLE PAGE
The title page must contain the following information:
- Full title of the manuscript in bold, Title Case, font size 14
- Author names in UPPERCASE, font size 12, without any prefixes such as Dr., Mr., Mrs., or Prof.
- Complete affiliation of all authors in lowercase
- Corresponding author must be marked with an asterisk (*)
- Email address of the corresponding author must be provided at the bottom of the title page
ABSTRACT
The abstract should be written on a separate page. It should be a concise summary of the study not exceeding 200-250 words. The abstract should briefly describe the background, objective, methodology, results, and conclusion of the study. A well-written abstract helps readers quickly understand the significance of the research.
KEYWORDS
Authors must provide 4 to 6 relevant keywords after the abstract. Keywords should represent the main topics of the manuscript and should be chosen carefully to facilitate easy indexing and searching of the article in databases.
INTRODUCTION
The introduction should provide a clear background of the research topic, a brief review of existing literature, and a concise statement of the research objectives. Authors should clearly explain the significance and novelty of their work.
MATERIALS AND METHODS
This section should provide sufficient detail about the materials, equipment, and experimental procedures used in the study so that the work can be reproduced by other researchers. Ethical approvals, if applicable, must be mentioned in this section.
RESULTS AND DISCUSSION
Results should be presented clearly using tables, figures, and photographs where appropriate. The discussion should interpret the findings in relation to existing literature and clearly address the objectives stated in the introduction.
CONCLUSION
The conclusion should summarize the key findings of the study and highlight their significance. Future recommendations or scope for further research may also be included.
REFERENCES
All references must follow Vancouver style only. References should be numbered consecutively in the order they appear in the text. In-text citations should be indicated by Arabic numerals in superscript format.

TABLES AND FIGURES
All tables and figures should be placed within the text at appropriate positions. Tables must be prepared using MS Word table format only. Each table and figure should be numbered consecutively using Arabic numerals and provided with a brief descriptive title in capital letters. Tables should not exceed one A4 page in size.
TYPES OF ARTICLES ACCEPTED
IJPHS accepts the following types of manuscripts:
Original Research Articles Full-length research papers reporting original findings.
Review Articles Comprehensive reviews of current literature on relevant topics in pharmaceutical and healthcare sciences.
Short Communications Brief reports of significant preliminary findings or exciting new discoveries.
Case Reports Detailed reports of clinical cases with educational value.
Letters to the Editor Brief comments or responses to previously published articles.
ETHICAL REQUIREMENTS
Authors reporting results of studies involving human subjects or animals must confirm that ethical approval was obtained from the relevant Ethics Committee or Institutional Review Board. This information must be clearly stated in the Materials and Methods section. For human studies, a notary verified approval letter from the Ethics Committee must be submitted along with the manuscript.
CONFLICTS OF INTEREST
All authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest at the time of submission. Conflicts of interest must be clearly mentioned within the manuscript to ensure transparency and integrity of the publication process.
COPYRIGHT
By submitting a manuscript to IJPHS, authors confirm that the work is original, has not been previously published, and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Upon acceptance, authors will be required to sign a copyright transfer form transferring all publication rights to IJPHS.
ARTICLE PROCESSING CHARGES
The International Journal of Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Sciences (IJPHS) does not charge any fees for manuscript submission, peer review, acceptance, or publication. All articles are published free of charge.
