COMMITMENT TO ORIGINALITY

International Journal of Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Sciences (IJPHS) is committed to publishing only original, high-quality research. We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy against plagiarism in all its forms. All submitted manuscripts are thoroughly checked for plagiarism before being sent for peer review.

DEFINITION OF PLAGIARISM

Plagiarism is defined as the use of another person's ideas, words, data, figures, or results without proper acknowledgment or permission. The following are considered forms of plagiarism:

- Copying text from another source without 
  proper citation
- Paraphrasing another author's work without 
  acknowledgment
- Using data, figures, or images from 
  published work without permission
- Self-plagiarism — reusing one's own 
  previously published work without disclosure
- Duplicate submission — submitting the same 
  manuscript to more than one journal 
  simultaneously

SIMILARITY INDEX POLICY

All manuscripts submitted to IJPHS are screened using plagiarism detection software before peer review. The acceptable similarity index is as follows:

ACTIONS AGAINST PLAGIARISM

If plagiarism is detected at any stage, the following actions will be taken:

BEFORE PUBLICATION:
- Manuscript will be immediately rejected
- Author will be notified with detailed 
  plagiarism report
- Manuscript will not be reconsidered 
  for publication

AFTER PUBLICATION:
- Article will be immediately retracted
- Author's institution will be notified
- Author may be banned from future 
  submissions to IJPHS

SELF-PLAGIARISM POLICY

Authors must disclose if any part of the submitted manuscript has been previously published or is under review elsewhere. Reuse of one's own previously published text, data, or figures without proper citation and disclosure is considered self-plagiarism and will result in rejection of the manuscript.

DUPLICATE SUBMISSION POLICY

Simultaneous submission of the same manuscript to more than one journal is strictly prohibited. If duplicate submission is discovered, the manuscript will be immediately rejected and the authors will be blacklisted from future submissions.

REPORTING PLAGIARISM

If any reader, reviewer, or editor suspects plagiarism in a published or submitted manuscript, they are encouraged to report it to the editorial office at: Email: ijphsjournal@gmail.com 

All reports will be investigated thoroughly and appropriate action will be taken in accordance with COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines.

COPE COMPLIANCE

IJPHS strictly follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) in handling all cases of suspected plagiarism, misconduct, and ethical violations.
